Versus The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party(s) ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Amit Kumar Sinha, Advocate For the State : Ms. Lily Sahay, AddI. P.P. …...... 04/ 01.07.2025: Heard, learned counsel for the parties. 2. This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail under Sections 482 & 484 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 apprehending his arrest for the offences under Sections 272, 275, 292, 317(5), 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023 and Section 47 A of the Jharkhand Excise Duty Act, 1915, in connection with Shikaripara P.S. Case No.101 of 2024, pending in the Court of learned ACJM, Dumka. 3. It is alleged that the vehicle of this petitioner was used for transportation of Indian made foreign liquor. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he had gone before the Investigating Officer twice, but the Investigating Officer has not arrested him. 5. Mere submission of the petitioner clearly suggests that there is no apprehension of the petitioner being arrested. 6. Petitioner should appear before the concerned Court, who will pass an appropriate order in terms of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vs. Central Bureau of Investigation & Another, reported in (2021) 10 SCC 773. 7. Accordingly, the instant anticipatory bail application stands disposed of. (ANANDA SEN, J.) R.S./
