Goswami, learned counsel for the applicant/appellant and Mr. D. Mondal, leaned counsel for the respondent No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 are present. 2. An appeal has been filed against the impugned judgment and award dated 21.06.2024, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No. 1, Kamrup (M), Guwahati in MAC Case No. 2144/2017 on the ground that the Page No.# 3/3 claimant/respondents are not entitled to compensated amount of RS. 45,81,219/ only with interest @ 9% per annum as the deceased was a Govt. employee and the same was not taken into account by the learned tribunal. 3. In view of the above, pending disposal of the appeal, impugned judgment and award dated 21.06.2024, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No. 1, Kamrup (M), Guwahati in MAC Case No. 2144/2017 is stayed subject to the condition that the insurer shall deposit Rs. 2,28,000/ out of the awarded amount with interest within a period of 6 weeks from today. 4. In the event of depositing the said amount by the insurer, the claimant/ respondent Nos. 1 and 4 (Smti Urmial Das and Smti Prabhabati Das) may be allowed to withdraw the same after proper verification and identification. 5.
