Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been Page No.# 2/3 filed by the petitioner, namely, 1. Nurul Amin, has prayed for grant of bail, who is stated to have been arrested on 01.07.2025 in connection with Bihpuria P.S Case No. 135/2025 registered under Sections 61(2)(a)/298/299/196(2) of BNS, 2023, R/W Section 13 (1) of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021 (Corresponding to GR Case No.603/2025) 3. The allegation is about recovery of 7 kgs of suspected beef meat from one Reshmi Hotel, which was allegedly selling the said meat without proper authorization and documents. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present accused is not the owner of the hotel and that it is actually owned by his elder brother i.e. Ruhul Amin. 5. In this regard, I have perused the documents issued by the Food Authority indicating the same. 6. On the other hand, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that the investigation has not yet completed. 7. However, in the circumstances and the above emerged materials and also considering the length of under trial detention – the accused petitioner, namely, Nurul Amin is hereby allowed to go on bail of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) only with one surety of like amount subject to the satisfaction of the concerned learned court with following conditions: (i) That the accused shall co-operate with the investigation; (ii) That the accused shall not hamper or tamper any Page No.# 3/3 evidence. 8. Violation of bail conditions might entail cancellation of the bail. 9. Return case diary. 10. With the above observations, this bail petition stands allowed and stands disposed of.
