Heard Ms. Abhilasha Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Chief Standing counsel for State- respondent No.s 1, 2 and 3 and Sri Anurag Srivastava for respondent No.4-Principal Accountant General (Audit-I), Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj. 2. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners, who were working on the post of Mukhya Sevika in Bal Vikas Sewa and Pushtahar Department, U.P., have since superannuated from their services. The grievance of the petitioners is with regard to extension of Old Pension Scheme to them and they have relied upon the Government Orders dated 28.6.2024 as well as 22.8.2024 in support of their claims. 3. After arguing the matter at some length, it has been submitted that the grievance of the petitioners shall be substantially redressed in case respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners dated 5.9.2024, as contained in Annexure No.10 to the writ petition, expeditiously. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents do not oppose the prayer of the petitioners. 5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 i.e. Director, Bal Vikas Sewa and Pushtahar, Indira Bhawan, Lucknow to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioners expeditiously, say within eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order and communicate the decision to the petitioners.
