Primary School. Petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste category. Upper age limit for appointment as Assistant Teacher, Govt. Primary School is 42 years for General Category candidates, while for SC/ ST candidates, the upper age limit is 47 years. Petitioner is overage by approximately two years, therefore he has sought a direction to the authorities to relax the condition of upper age limit in the advertisement issued on 7.11.2025. (3) Counsel for the petitioner submits that identical issue was dealt with by this Court in WPSS No. 1955 of 2025, therefore this writ petition may be decided in terms of the order dated 19.11.2021, passed in the said writ petition. Learned State Counsel does not dispute the said submission. (4) Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order dated 19.11.2025, passed in WPSS No. 1955 of 2025. If petitioner makes representation on or before 1.12.2025, decision thereupon shall be taken within three weeks thereafter.
