Heard Sri Pramendra Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and the Standing counsel for the respondents. 2. It has been submitted that the petitioner was promoted to the post of Senior Assistant under Additional Commissioner and Additional Registrar (Administration), Cooperative, Lucknow. He has stated that his juniors have already been promoted in 2019 and claims his promotion with effect from the date his juniors were promoted as per the provisions contained in Rule 8 of U.P. Government Servants Seniority Rules, 1991. 3. After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner shall be substantially redressed in case opposite party no.3 i.e. Additional Commissioner and Additional Registrar (Administration), Co-operative, U.P., Lucknow is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 20.11.2024, as contained in Annexure No.12 to the writ petition, expeditiously. 4. Learned Standing counsel does not object to the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner expeditiously, say within eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
