This petition is filed seeking quashing of notices dated 03.03.2016 and 22.12.2017 directing the petitioner to deposit land tax for assessment year 2006-07 to 2012-13. 2. The short grievance raised in this petition is that without deciding the objections filed by the petitioners against the notices, the tax is being recovered. This petition is disposed of directing the respondents to decide the objections of the petitioners in accordance with law, expeditiously not later than three months from receipt of the certified copy of the order. In case, the objections have already been decided, the order passed shall be communicated to the petitioners and the petitioners shall be at liberty to avail remedy in accordance with law, in case, grievance still survives.
