2025:JHHC:18391 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A.B.A. No. 3591 of 2025 ----- Arun Kumar Mandal @ Arun Kumar, S/o Sahru Mandal, R/o Village Danro, P.O.+P.S. Ramgarh, District Dumka .... Petitioner(s). Versus The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party(s). ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. S.P. Roy, Advocate For the State : Mr. Sudhir Kumar Mahto, AddI. P.P. …...... 04/ 09.07.2025: Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of under Sections 482 and 484 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Surksha Sanhita, 2023, apprehending his arrest for offences under Sections 414/353/34 of IPC. 3. The learned APP opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. 4. There is allegation when the informant with police party after taking control of the vehicle which was carrying illegal coal was taking the same to the police station, this petitioner and some unknown came and tried to forcibly take the vehicle from them. 5. Considering the nature of allegation as the petitioner tried to obstruct the police personnel from performing their duty, I find that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No.16 of 2023, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Dumka, stands rejected. 7. Petitioner should appear before the Court concerned where his case will be considered on merit without being prejudiced by order of this Court. (ANANDA SEN, J.) R.S./
