In pursuance of the earlier order dated 28.03.2025, affidavit of compliance filed by respondent no. 2 is taken on record. Shri Mohit Jauhari, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent no. 2 submits that the interest on ex-gratia amount, i.e., Rs.3,16,128/- has already been transferred through RTGS in the account of the applicant yesterday, i.e., on 21.04.2025. The statement of account is also annexed with the affidavit of compliance by the respondent. 3. An application for exemption from personal appearance of respondent no. 2 is also filed on the ground that the order of writ Court has already been complied with. The aforesaid exemption application is also taken on record. 4. The cause shown in the affidavit filed in support of the exemption application is sufficient and, therefore, the personal appearance of respondent no. 2 is hereby exempted. 5. Considering the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel and going through the order of writ Court as well as contents of the affidavit of compliance, the contempt application has lost its efficacy and the same stands dismissed.
