Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner stating that the petitioner being a widow was entitled for appointment on dying in harness rules, the respondents have rejected the contention vide order dated 23.10.2024 mainly on the ground that the petitioner does not possess the qualification of high school, which is required in terms of the Government Order for appointment on compassionate ground also. 3. There is no denial of this fact that the petitioner has no qualification of High School, which is a requirement prescribed. 4. In view of the petitioner not being eligible, no interference is warranted with the impugned order. 5. The writ petition lacks merit and is dismissed.
