Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he is not pressing prayer clause no. 1 and he is confining his prayer only to prayer clause nos. 2 & 3. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that even though, petitioners are performing the same duties, as any other regular Group ‘D’ employee, however, they are being paid paltry amount as wages. It is further contended that petitioner no. 1 is serving as daily wager in Forest Department since 2017 and petitioner no. 2 is serving since 2021, therefore, they are entitled to minimum pay scale and other benefits. In this regard, petitioners have made representation to respondent no. 3. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 3 to take decision on petitioners representation dated 24.02.2025 (Annexure no. 4 to the writ petition), within six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
