The instant interlocutory application is preferred by the applicants seeking impleadment of the following persons :- Page No.# 2/3 [i] Sri Ashok Babu, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, Government of Assam, Health & Family Welfare Department, Dispur, Guwahati – 06. [ii] Dr. Yogesh Phangchu The Director of Health Services, Assam, Hengrabari, Guwahati – 7810034. [iii] Sri Ankur Bharali, ACS, District Commissioner, Dhemaji District, Dhemaji, Pin – 787057. [iv] Dr. Kulen Chandra Gohain, The Joint Director of Health Services, Dhemaji District, Pin – 787058. - as party-respondent nos. 5 to 8 in the connected contempt petition, Cont.Case[C] no. 673/2023. 3. It is averred that the opposite party nos. 1 to 4 impleaded earlier in the connected contempt petition as party-respondent nos. 1 to 4 have since been transferred from the respective offices and in their places, the afore-mentioned persons have joined the respective offices. It is further averred that impleadment of the afore-mentioned persons as party- respondents in the connected contempt petition is necessary for proper and effective adjudication of the contempt petition. 4. Mr. Gogoi, learned counsel appearing for the opposite party nos. 1 & 2 – respondent nos. 1 & 2 has submitted that he has no objection if the prayer for impleadment is allowed. Page No.# 3/3 5. Having gone through the averments and statements made in the interlocutory application seeking impleadment of the afore-mentioned parties, this Court is of the considered view that the presence of the afore-mentioned persons as party-respondent nos. 5 to 8 in the connected contempt petition, Cont.Case[C] no. 673/2023 is necessary for proper and effective adjudication of the issues involved in the contempt petition. Accordingly, the interlocutory application is allowed. 5. The learned counsel for the applicants-petitioners shall file amended the Cause-Title in respect of the connected contempt petition, Cont.Case[C] no. 673/2023 in terms of the Notification no. 79 dated 19.06.2023 by 03.03.2025 and on filing such amended Cause-Tile, the Office shall carry out necessary correction in the Cause-Title of the contempt petition as well as in the CIS.
