It was submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that Page No.# 2/2 though he does not have any specific information about any case registration but he is having some apprehension of arrest as the police is stated to be looking for him. 3. Pursuant to the order dated, 04.08.2025, a report from the Officer- in-Charge, Kalgachia police station has been received where it is mentioned that “I have locally and confidentially enquired about Jeherul Alam S/o Late Abu Bakkar Siddique R/o vill. and PO Isabpur P.S. Kalgachia Dist.- Barpeta, Assam and found correct. As per records, no any case has been registered against the said person in Kalgachia police station.” 4. Accordingly, no any case has been registered so far against the petitioner in Kalgachia police station. 5. In view of the report dated 05.06.2025, there is no basis for apprehension of the petitioner to justify the pre-arrest bail application. 6.
