Heard Ms. S Laskar, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. P Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. On the last occasion, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor was directed to get the instruction as to whether any case is registered or lodged against the petitioner and in pursuant to the said order, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has placed instruction dated 04.09.2025 provided by the Sub-Inspector of Hatigaon Police Station by which it is reflected that an FIR was, in fact, lodged against the petitioner by his wife on 16.07.2025, but, later both the parties had entered into a compromise and the case was withdrawn from the Hatigaon Police Station and as such, it is reported that at present there are no cases against the petitioner. 3.
