The petitioner has preferred the present petition with the following prayers:- I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to conduct enquiry against the Village Pradhan and officials involved in corrupt practice of bungling the fund allotted to Gram Panchayat Nebua Naurangia, Block Khadda, District Kushinagar and initiate action under Rule 3,4,5 of U.P. Panchayatraj ( Removal of Pradhan, Up Pradhan & members) Rules 1997. 2. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court Instructions under the signatures of District Panchayat Raj Officer, Kushinagar dated 01.04.2025 placed before the Court, the same is taken on record. It is stated in the aforesaid Instructions that on the basis of the complaint made by the petitioner, an Inquiry Committee has been constituted as per Government Order dated 18.04.2019.Pursuant to the aforesaid, District Cane Officer and Executive Engineer, Construction Division, Public Works Department has been appointed as Inquiry Officers to inquire the matter. 3. It is argued by learned Standing Counsel that since the inquiry officers have already been appointed in the matter and as soon as they submitted their report, the authority concerned will take appropriate decision in the matter expeditiously. 4. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of in terms of undertaking given by learned Standing Counsel.
