Mr. Gulshan Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. Mr. N.S. Pundir, learned counsel for the respondent – Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. 3. Since common questions of fact and law are involved in both the petitions, therefore, these petitions are clubbed together and decided by this common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity and convenience, facts of WPSS No. 2161 of 2025 alone are being considered and discussed. 4. Petitioner retired as Senior Clerk from Uttarakhand Transport Corporation on 30.04.2020. According to him, amount payable to him as Gratuity, Leave Encashment, arrears of ACP etc. have not been released so far. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: - i) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the arrears of gratuity Rs. 37594/ -, arrears of leave encashment Rs. 1600/ - arrears of ACP Rs. 31000/ - arrears of 4% DA Rs. 8000/ - and two T.A. bill of Rs. 11000/ - and 10000/ -. ii) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to take a decision upon the representation of the petitioner dated 31.12.2024 and release the amount claimed by the petitioner. 6. Mr. N.S. Pundir, learned counsel appearing for Uttarakhand Transport 2025:UHC:11028 Corporation submits that since petitioner has made a representation on 31.12.2024 to Managing Director, therefore, decision on the said representation shall be taken within three months. 7. The writ petitions are, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to Managing Director to take decision on petitioner’s representation(s), as per law, within three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
