Sri Sanjeev Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, states that in compliance of the earlier order of this Court a compliance affidavit dated 11.02.2025 has been filed. A perusal of paragraph 3 of the said affidavit would indicate that out of 27 pending cases regarding payment of ex-gratia amount, in 16 cases the payment order has been issued and in one case the claim has been rejected and in 7 other cases some documents have been directed to be provided by the concerned District Magistrate and that in remaining three cases the final decision regarding the payment is being processed. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner also states that the payment of ex-gratia amount in the instant case has been made to the petitioner. 4. Considering the aforesaid and the fact that the State is pro- actively chasing up the matter pertaining to payment of ex- gratia amount nothing further survives in the petition.
