Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority to release post retiral benefits to petitioner in view of the fact that he has superannuated on 31.01.2014. 3. With regard to such grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 21.11.2024 but seeks liberty to file fresh representation. 4. Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner, without entering into the merits of the case, petitioner is granted liberty to file a fresh representation before opposite party No.3 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Ayodhya. In case such a representation is filed, the same shall be considered and decided within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. In case petitioner is found entitled for the aforesaid benefits, actual payment thereof shall be ensured within a period of six weeks thereafter. The concerned authority shall also consider the aspect of interest on delayed payment. 5. With the aforesaid observation, petition stands disposed of.
