The present petition has been filed with the following prayers: "i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari thereby quashing the suspension order dated 28.09.2016 passed by the opposite party no.3 after summoning the original in relating to Arm's Licence No.3163 N.P. Bore Revolver & Revolver No.9184, Police Station Mill Area District Raebareli. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no.3 to revoke the suspension order dated 28.09.2016 and allow the area extension application as well as allow to renewal of the arm license." 3. Considering the fact that the decision is to be taken by the opposite party no.3 and admittedly the matter is pending, the present petition is disposed off directing the respondent no.3 to take a decision positively in the light of the application filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, with all expeditions preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order. The petitioner is permitted to be heard either personally or through his counsel.
