Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, particularly, respondent nos. 4, 5, 6 and 7, in violation of the different provisions/Government Orders/Statute of the University. Heard. At the very outset, the Court wanted to know from learned counsel for the petitioner as to how many petitions have been filed by the petitioner till date? Is it really a petition in public interest or the petitioner is advancing some other ulterior cause by filing the petition? Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed only 3 petitions in public interest, which has been disclosed in Para no.1. Learned State Counsel submits that the petitioner had filed 7 petitions earlier, bearing WPMS Nos. 2380, 2378, 2377, 2370, 2367, 2366, 2365 of 2025, and he had also filed some contempt petitions. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not aware of those 7 WPMS petitions. The Court could proceed further to enquire about the locus of the petitioner, and the activity, which has been undertaken by filing multiple petitions in the Court, but before that, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the instant petition, the petitioner has received a letter from Finance Department that his grievance is being looked into by the State Department. In view of it, he seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition. The permission is accorded. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. (Alok Mahra J.) (Ravindra Maithani J.) 27.11.2025 RV
