According to petitioners, they were entitled to Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- as 3rd ACP which became due on 01.11.2014; however, the said benefit has not been given to them. 3. It is contended that similarly situate persons in District Dehradun were given such benefit and thereafter pursuant to a judicial order, similarly situate persons in District Almora were extended similar benefits. 4. The relief sought in the writ petition is as follows: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the grade pay of Rs 5400/- to the petitioners in third ACP with effect from due date i.e. date 01.11.2014 as per the Government order dated 22.08.2014 & 14.08.2019 along with all consequential benefits including grant of revise pension with the interest of 12% from the date of its accrual till the date of actual payment.” 5. Learned counsel appearing for High Court, however, submits that even though petitioner have approached this Court after much delay as all of them retired before 2020, 2025:UHC:11319 however, he submits that he has no objection if petitioners are permitted to make representation to the Registrar General of High Court. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make representation to the Registrar General, High Court within two weeks from today. 7. Representation, if made, shall be decided as per law, within three months of its making.
