According to the petitioner, respondent No. 3 has raised construction in the vicinity of the house of petitioner, without obtaining prior sanction from Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) and the matter was highlighted by petitioner in a complaint. 3. He submits that although notice was issued to respondent No. 3 on the complaint, but thereafter MDDA is sleeping over the matter and no action has been taken so far. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 1 Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority to decide the representation of the petitioner, in respect of illegal construction raised by respondent no. 3, in accordance with law, in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 4. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Secretary, Mussoorie Dehradun Development 2025:UHC:11102 Authority to look into the complaint made by petitioner and pass appropriate order, as per law, within six months. 5. It goes without saying that respondent No. 3 and other stakeholders, if any, shall also be given reasonable opportunity of hearing.
