Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner, after attempting to argue the matter at some length, submits that in view of the judgment and order dated Page No.# 2/2 22.03.2022, passed by a Coordinate Bench in WP(C) 6534/2019, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of retrospective effect to his promotion to the cadre of Junior Assistant, effected vide order dated 15.06.2023, may not be possible to be allowed. Accordingly, he submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file appropriate application seeking review of the judgment and order dated 22.03.2022. The prayer is not objected to by Ms. M.D. Borah, learned counsel appearing for the State respondents. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition stands dismissed on withdrawal with liberty reserved to the petitioner to file appropriate application seeking review of the judgment and order dated 22.03.2022, passed by the Coordinate Bench in WP(C) 6534/2019.
