The petitioner seeks removal of the encroachment in S.F. No.1514 in Puliyur Village, Karur Taluk. It is not in dispute that the aforesaid survey number has been classified as vaikal poramboke. The encroachment on such a water body cannot be permitted. 3. It is stated that the fourth respondent is conducting survey today. If any encroachment is identified, it will be removed by adhering to due process of law. Notices will be issued to the encroachers and opportunity shall be given.
