This is an application for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner, Surjya Saha Page No.# 2/2 under section 482 BNSS in respect of an FIR stated to have been lodged by the wife of the petitioner against him and pursuant to which police from Barpeta Road Police Station visited the petitioner’s house on 25.07.2025 and conducted search therein. 3. On the basis of the said contention a report was called for from the concerned police station about registration of any case with regard to him. Pursuant thereof the O/C, Barpeta Road police station has submitted a report in which it has been stated that no case has been registered against the petitioner nor any FIR has been filed in the police station as of now. 4. In view of the same, any apprehension of arrest in a non bailabe case is unfounded and the petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid terms. 5.
