He was for the offence punishable under Section 354 of IPC. By its Judgment dated 05.05.2008, learned Sessions Judge convicted the accused under Section 354 of IPC and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 5 years and to pay fine of Rs. 1,000/ IN THE HIGH COURT OF ANDHRA PRADESH [3327] THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY ...APELLANT ...RESPODENT in S.C.No.13 of 2007 on the file of the Court of is the appellant herein. He was for the offence punishable under Section 354 of IPC. By its Judgment, the accused for the under Section 354 of IPC and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 5 years and to pay fine of Rs. 1,000/- in default, to suffer simple imprisonment for a period of three months. Against the said conviction and sentence, the appellant filed present Criminal Appeal before this Court. 2. When the case has come up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the Respondent/ State filed a Memo stating that the Appellant herein died on 11.06.2024, due to ill health and filed Death Certificate along with Memo. 3. This Court perused the Death Certificate, which shows that the appellant died on 11.06.2024. 4. In view of the aforesaid reason, this Criminal Appeal has been dismissed as abated. 5.
