Petitioner is serving as Senior Assistant in Construction Division, Public Works Department, Kapkot, District Bageshwar. She was transferred from District Bageshwar to District Nainital, vide order dated 10.06.2024. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner filed this writ petition. 4. Coordinate Bench passed interim order on 19.06.2024 in favour of petitioner, pursuant to which, petitioner is still continuing at Bageshwar. 5. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending, as it is for the employer, where to post a particular employee. 6. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Competent Authority regarding her transfer. If she makes such representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken within six weeks thereafter. For a period of eight weeks or till decision is taken, whichever is earlier, petitioner shall not be relieved from the present place of posting.
