Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Shri Devesh Pathak, learned Chief Standing Counsel. 2. The present writ petition has been filed seeking following main relief(s):- " Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the Opposite party no. 2/Commissioner, Cane and Sugar, U.P Lucknow to decide the application dated 24.02.2025 (Annexure No. 1 of the writ petition) of the petitioner within time frame, which may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. " 3. The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the claim of the petitioner has not been decided as is raised vide the application dated 24.02.2025, which is appended as Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition. 4. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that respondent no. 2 i.e Commissioner, Cane and Sugar, U.P, Lucknow may be directed to consider and decide the application of the petitioner dated 24.02.2025, within the stipulated time as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper.
