The applicant seeks enlargement on bail in FIR No.276 of 2025, under Section 85, 80(2) of BNS & Section 3/4 of D.P. Act, P.S. Sandi, District Hardoi. 4. The FIR in question was lodged alleging that daughter of the informant aged about 27 years was married to the applicant on 06.02.2024 and sufficient dowry was also given, however, the entire matrimonial family used to harass her for dowry and subsequently, she was killed by the entire matrimonial family. The postmortem report on record indicates the cause of death as asphyxia due to ante mortem hanging and apart from the ligature mark, no other injury was observed on the body of the deceased. 5. Learned counsel for the complainant opposes the bail application by arguing that the manner in which the body was found cannot be caused by hanging. 6.
