The petitioner is a permanent resident of Ramanathapuram. The petitioner therefore seeks transfer from Central Prison, Puzhal Unit I to Central Prison, Madurai. The prayer prime facie is reasonable. 3.We direct the Director General of Prisons, Chennai to pass an appropriate order on the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
