The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the Regional Officer, U.P. Pollution Control Board, Aligarh to grant consolidated consent and authorization certificate to the petitioners within stipulated time, taking into consideration the certificate granted on 30.11.2024 by Geology and Mining Department, U.P. in respect of running of a brick kiln situated at Village Hatsari, Tehsil Aliganj, District Etah. 2. Sri Sarthak Singh, learned counsel appearing for the U.P. Pollution Control Board, submits that the prayer of the petitioners for grant of certificate has been rejected by order dated 3.12.2024. Copy of the said order has been produced before us and has also been made available to learned counsel for the petitioners. 3. Having regard to the said fact, we are of the opinion that the prayer made in the instant petition has become infructuous. 4. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of without prejudice to the right of the petitioners to challenge the order dated 3.12.2024 in independent proceedings. (Anish Kumar Gupta, J.)
