The present application has been filed on behalf of the applicant seeking quashing of the cognizance and summoning order dated 22.10.2024 passed by the Judicial Magistrate IInd, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar, in Criminal Case No. 3470 of 2024, State vs. Shyam Singh @ Panchu Singh and others, for the offences punishable under Sections 427 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Dineshpur, District Udham Singh Nagar. Before the Lok Adalat, the parties are present before the Court and have amicably settled the dispute. It is submitted that, in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, respondent no. 2, namely Kundan Singh Mehta, does not wish to press Criminal Case No. 3470 of 2024, State vs. Shyam Singh @ Panchu Singh and others, pending before the Court of Judicial Magistrate IInd, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar, and has no objection if the same is quashed. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the application stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, Criminal Case No. 3470 of 2024, State vs. Shyam Singh @ Panchu Singh and others, for the offences punishable under Sections 427 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code, pending before the Judicial Magistrate Second, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar, is hereby quashed on the basis of the compromise.
