By the present writ petition the petitioner whose father namely JYOTI SHARMA Digitally signed by JYOTI SHARMA Date: 2025.04.11 10:22:35 +0530 2 / 3 Late Ghursai who was working as Lineman Grade-II in the respondent department died in harness on 17.08.2022 and the petitioner who is the son of late employee moved application for grant of compassionate employment before the concerned authority. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application of the petitioner for grant of compassionate employment was forwarded by respondent No. 2 to the respondent No. 3 as the case of the petitioner was found eligible for compassionate employment. However, respondent No. 3 has not taken any decision on the application of the petitioner till date. 3. Learned counsel for respondents appearing on advance copy by referring Annexure P-5 submits that respondent No. 2 has forwarded the application of the petitioner to the respondent No. 3 and it is in process and will be decided within stipulated period in accordance with the policy of the company. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings and Annexure P-5 dated 05.02.2025 which is a communication of respondent No. 2 to respondent No. 3 . 5. Perusal of communication dated 05.02.2025 shows that respondent No. 2 has forwarded the case of the petitioner to respondent No. 3 with observation that the case of the petitioner is found suitable for grant of compassionate employment as per the policy. Further, it appears that after the said communication no order has been passed by respondent No. 3, hence respondent 3 / 3 No. 3 is directed to pass necessary order pursuant to the application of the petitioner and communication dated 05.02.2025 by respondent No. 2 within 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
