Ms. Madhurika Sekhon Verma, Advocate, for the defendant. The value of the present suit for the purpose of jurisdiction has been assessed at Rs.4,10,801/-. As per notification dated 18.08.2025, ex-officio powers of Commercial Court at District level have been conferred on each District Judge/Additional District Judge to be exercised by them in their respective jurisdiction with the pecuniary value, which shall not be less than rupees three lakhs and not more than rupees one crore. Since the present suit has been valued by the plaintiff at the rate of Rs.4,10,801/- as such, the same is transferred to the Court of learned District Judge, Sirmour at Nahan, H.P., who shall dispose of the same in accordance with law. The parties are directed to appear before the aforesaid Court 19.05.2026. The records be sent to the said Court, forthwith, so as to reach well before the date fixed.
