Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of directions to the respondents to open a culvert, constructed by Public Works Department, so the rain water along-with muck and debris, does not damage the house of the petitioner. 2. In terms of the reply filed by the respondents, in case, the prayer of the petitioner is conceded to, then it may lead to damage to the houses of some other persons. It is also mentioned in the reply that the petitioner has also a Civil Suit on the same issue, which is pending before the learned Civil 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:29913 Court. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has not concealed these facts and mentioned all these facts in the petition, but he submits that on account of the inclement weather conditions, immediate indulgence of the respondents is required to ensure that there is no further damage to the life and property of the petitioner or nearby residents. 4. In light of the issue raised by the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with the direction that without going into the issue of civil lis between the petitioner and the other parties, let a via media be worked out by the Public Works Department and the IPH Department, to ensure that the rain water etc. is channelized in a manner that it does not damage the property of the petitioner or any other person. 5.
