Such land was 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No. 29716 of 2025 acquired in the year 2013 and compensation was fixed in a sum of ? 12,00,000/-. The petitioner has admittedly received the sum of ? 6,00,000/-. On the basis that a portion of the land remains unused, the petitioner had submitted a representation seeking reconveyance of a portion of the unused land instead of the remaining compensation of ? 6,00,000/-. 2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents 1, 3 to 5 and learned Senior Counsel, appears for the second respondent. Learned Government Advocate submits that the remaining land is also required for public purpose. Without prejudice, he submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered and disposed of on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.
