According to petitioner, he purchased a forest produce, namely, Chhilka/Guliya in a public auction, held on 06.03.2025; however, he is not being issued transit pass for transporting the said forest produce. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to issue the transit pass to the petitioner for transportation of 64.575 cubic meters of Chhilka/Guliya purchased by the petitioner in the public auction conducted by the respondents.” 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner has made a representation on 10.11.2025, but the concerned Divisional Forest Officer has not taken any decision in the matter. 4. Learned State Counsel assures that the decision, if already not taken, shall be taken within three weeks. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to concerned DFO, to take decision on the representation, within three weeks from date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
