This is an application under Section 483 BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Sofikul Ali @ Goria, who has been arrested on Page No.# 2/2 25.06.2025 in connection with Abhayapuri P.S. Case No. 80/2025 under Sections 331(4)/305(e) of the BNS, 2023. 3. Case diary not received. It is submitted by Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in said Abhayapuri P.S. Case No. 80/2025 vide Charge-Sheet No. 130/2025 dated 23.07.2025. 4. In that context, Mr. M.I. Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the accused petitioner is in the custody since last 48 days and considering his length of detention, he may be released on bail. 5. Considering the fact that the case has already been charge sheeted, accordingly the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Court below with an appropriate application for bail which may be considered in accordance with law. 6.
