On the ground that the Town Survey Land Register wrongly mentioned the extent as 1705 square feet instead of 2200 square feet, the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 09.07.2025. Mr.R.Baskaran, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for respondents 2 and 3. Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that authority is vested in the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider an application for rectification of the Town Survey Land Register. 3. In view of the said submissions, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Trichy, is suo motu impleaded as the fifth respondent in this Writ Petition. This order shall be issued after carrying out the amendment in this Writ Petition. 4. This Writ Petition is disposed of, without making any observations on the merits, on the following terms: i.
