By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for following Digitally signed by RAGHVENDRA JAT 2 reliefs:- “(i) The Hon'ble Court may issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to decide the application of the petitioner for grant of Inter State Regular Stage Carriage Permit on the route Chirmiri to Ranchi via Nagpur, Baikunthpur, Surajpur, Vishrampur, Ambikapur, Sitapur, Patthalgaon, Kansabel, Kunkuri, Jashpur, Gumla, Ranchi and one single trip daily and to grant the same in accordance with the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act. (ii) Any other relief which the Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper may also be granted in favour of the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application for grant of Inter State Regular Stage Carriage Permit on the route of Chirmiri to Ranchi via Nagpur, Baikunthpur, Surajpur, Vishrampur, Ambikapur, Sitapur, Patthalgaon, Kansabel, Kunkuri, Jashpur, Gumla, Ranchi. She further submits that the application is pending before respondent No. 1- State Transport Authority, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh on 28.10.2024, however, till date the application has not yet been decided as such the petitioner is seeking a direction that his application may be decided. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that if 3 any such application is pending before the authority, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, especially considering the fact that the application has filed by the petitioner way back on 28.10.2024 before respondent No. 1- State Transport Authority, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh as such respondent No. 1- State Transport Authority, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh is directed to decide the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of 30 days. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not made any opinion in respect of merits of the case and respondent No. 1- State Transport Authority, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh is at liberty to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 7.
