The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 144/2023 arising out of Seraikella P.S. Case No. 84 of 2023, for the offences under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and cognizance has been taken under Sections 304B and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned A.S.J.-III, Seraikella. 3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court in B.A. No. 1179/2024 vide order dated 20.03.2024. 4. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased namely Firoja Khatoon, who died due to smothering within seven years of her marriage. It is alleged that she was tortured to enforce the demand of dowry. 5. It was submitted that out of 12 charge-sheeted witnesses 9 witnesses have already been examined. 6 . Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the trial is at fag end of its conclusion, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected once again. 7.
