GP FOR COOPERATION The Court made the following: 2 Order: This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to declare the action of the Respondent No.1 in issuing the Circular, dated 21.03.2024, by directing all its branches/officers, petitioners and similar PACS, not to collect amount more than Rs.2.00 lakhs from one account, from one person per day and all transactions above Rs.2.00 lakhs should be made by cheque/DD only for the amounts while collecting repayments of loans in view of Section 269 T of the Income Tax Act, 1961, without considering the ground reality and absence of basic facilities to farmers/members and in not providing required infrastructure, like online facilities and further respondents not considering the representation, dated 15.04.2024 made by the petitioners, as illegal, unjust, arbitrary and contrary to the aims and objectives of the Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1964 and the Rules made thereunder. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that cause in the Writ Petition does not survive and the matter has become infructuous. 3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. 4.
