CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH
------ For the Petitioners : Mr. Kaushik Sarkhel, Advocate For the State : Mr. Santosh Kr.Shukla, A.P.P.
: Mr. Vishwanath Roy, Spl.P.P.
------ 03/29.08.2025 Both these bail applications arise out of the same police case. Accordingly, both these cases are being disposed of by a common
order.
2. Heard the parties.
3. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 129/2024 arising out of Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 304B/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned A.S.J.-III, Jamtara.
4. Bail applications of the petitioners were earlier twice rejected by this Court. 5 . The petitioners happen to be father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased Dimple Kumari, who was strangulated to death in her matrimonial home within nine months of her marriage. It is alleged that the deceased was tortured to enforce demand of dowry. 6 . Report regarding the stage of trail and time required for its conclusion, earlier called for from the learned Trial Court, has been received. It appears that trial is likely to be concluded within 04
months.
7. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that trial is likely to be concluded, I am not inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail stands rejected once again.
8. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within four months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence, failing which, petitioners, if so advised, may renew their prayer for bail.
