Mr. Vinay Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. Mr. Pradeep Hairiya, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 3. The petitioners are praying for the following reliefs: “A. To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents, particularly respondent no. 1 to consider and grant the appropriate pay scales to the petitioners from due date i.e. Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/ - for the post of Livestock Extension Officer as well as Grade pay of Rs. 5400/ - for the post of Block Extension Officer, as recommended by the Respondent no. 2 is its letter date 27.06.2016 (Annexure No. 21 to the writ petition). B. To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to grant all consequential benefits to the petitioners.” 4. As it appears from the reliefs, as sought, undoubtedly the petitioners have an alternative remedy to approach Uttarakhand Public Service Tribunal, therefore, taking into consideration that the petitioners have an alternative remedy for redressal of their grievances, the matter is relegated to the Uttarakhand Public Service Tribunal with entire records. The petitioners are free to make request for expeditious disposal before the Tribunal. 5. In view of the observations, as made above, instant writ petition is dismissed with the liberty to the petitioners to approach the Uttarakhand Public Service Tribunal.
