Education Act, 1982 governing the field and the Rules made thereunder and consequently, direct the respondents not to grant any permissions to the proposals for starting New Degree Colleges without complying with the provisions of the Act 1982 and without following the stipulated procedure. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that cause in the Writ Petition does not survive. 3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. 4.
