Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, after arguing at some length, has confined his prayer that the representations dated 17.04.2025 and 27.08.2025 may be directed to be decided by the competent authority in the light of Clause 3 of the Circular dated 22.06.2017 issued by the Director General of Police, U.P., Lucknow. 3. Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents does not have any objection if the aforesaid limited relief is granted to the petitioner by this Court. 4. In view of the aforesaid submissions and without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the Respondent No. 4 to consider and decide the petitioner's representations dated 17.04.2025 and 27.08.2025 contained in Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition, keeping in view the provisions made in Clause 3 of the Circular dated 22.06.2017, within a period of one month from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
