Heard counsel for the parties. Perused the pleadings.
In terms of the proviso to Section 74(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (RFCTLARR) Act 2013, an appeal can be preferred within 60 days, beyond the 60 days provided in terms of Section 74(1) of the Act for filing the appeal. In the further extended time upon showing sufficient cause, delay in filing the appeal can be condoned.
From the pleadings on record, sufficient cause for condoning the delay of 6 days has been made out. In view thereof, delay in filing the appeal is condoned. The application stands disposed of.
