The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 2.6.2023 passed by this Court in Writ C No.18932 of 2023 and also order dated 3.12.2021 passed by this Court in Writ C No.32079 of 2021. This Court by order dated 2.6.2023 restrained the opposite party to take any coercive measure against the petitioners/applicants on the condition that the petitioners/applicants deposited Rs.24,14,535/- on or before 9.7.2023. The averments in the affidavit and the documents annexed with the contempt application disclose that the amount referred in the order passed by this Court was not deposited on or before 9.7.2023. The condition precedent for the restrain order to be operative was not fulfilled by the applicants. It is not a case for registering proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. The application is dismissed. The applicants may exercise other remedies available to them in law for redressal of their grievances.
