The petitioners have preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayers :- "(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in nature of mandamus commanding the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to sanction promotional grade pay scale in favour of petitioners, within stipulated time framed by this Hon'ble Court. (II) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents specially respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to decide the representation moved by the petitioners dated 05/10/2024, within stipulated time framed by this Hon'ble Court, (Annexure No.-5 to the writ petition)." 2. It is argued by counsel for the petitioners that after the representations were made by the petitioners in this regard a letter dated 14.02.2024 was written by the District Basic Education Officer, Azamgarh to the Manager of the institution namely Subhas Laghu Madhyamic Vidyalaya, Gambhirvan, District Azamgarh asking papers and documents pertaining to the petitioners but till date no decision has been taken in the matter. 3. On the other hand it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that the authority concerned will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 5. With the consent of counsel for the parties present writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage itself. 6. It transpires from perusal of the records that for the purpose of promotional pay scale when the representations were made by the petitioners papers and documents were sought for by the respondent no.2-District Basic Education Officer, Azamgarh from the respondent no.4-Manager of Committee of Management, Subhas Laghu Madhyamic Vidyalaya, Gambhirvan, District Azamgarh on 14.02.2024. 7. In this view of the matter, respondent no.2-District Basic Education Officer, Azamgarh is directed to obtain all the necessary papers and documents from the respondent no.4-Manager of Committee of Management, Subhas Laghu Madhyamic Vidyalaya, Gambhirvan, District Azamgarh and take a decision in the matter strictly in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
