Heard learned counsels for the parties and perused the material brought on record. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing to all respondents to change petitioner surname from "Suyash Sharma' to "Suyash Mishra" and to add/Change the surname of his parents in all marksheet, relevant academic certificates & college degree issued by the all respondents." 3. Considering the fact that the decision is to be taken by the respondent no.1 and 2 and thereafter by the respondent no.3, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1 and 2, to pass orders on the application filed by the petitioner for change of his surname, in accordance with, the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of Jigya Yadav (Minor) vs. CBSE (Civil Appeal No. 3905 of 2011) reported in 2021 SC 274. 4. The respondent no.1 and 2 shall take a decision within a period of two months.
